Our Namesake

Our school was named for Mrs. Grace Logan Patterson, the first African American teacher in Vallejo City Unified School District and a pivotal community leader. The school honors her legacy of commitment to education and community service. Patterson was instrumental in advocating for quality education and equity, leaving a lasting impact on the local community.
